2PM Privacy Policy
Owner/Operator: 2PM · Contact: Telegram
Last updated: August 27, 2026
For App Review:
This policy intentionally addresses the rejection reason: “The app name and privacy policy name are not matching and we did not find any affiliation.” The application name used throughout this document matches exactly the application name displayed in the developer console: 2PM.
1. App Name Consistency
For transparency and to meet platform requirements, this policy explicitly uses the exact application name: 2PM. The page title, main heading, and references in this document all match the app name exactly.
2. Affiliation & Branding Statement
2PM is owned and operated by 2pm.space. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram), or any other third-party brand referenced within the product. Any brand names or logos are used solely to identify the services and integrations that users connect (for example, Facebook Pages and Messenger).
3. What This App Does
2PM helps you manage customer conversations across multiple communication channels (including, where enabled by you, Facebook) through a unified inbox workflow integrated with Chatwoot and other tools that you choose to connect.
4. Information We Collect
Depending on the channels and features you enable, we may process:
- Account data: name, email address, and profile information you provide.
- Conversation data: messages, attachments, timestamps, sender/recipient identifiers, and metadata from connected channels.
- Operational data: logs, browser/device information, IP address, and settings required to operate and secure the application.
- Integration data: identifiers and access tokens required to connect third-party services that you authorize (such as Chatwoot).
5. App Store Privacy Disclosure (iOS)
The 2PM iOS application is distributed on the Apple App Store. The table below mirrors, in Apple's own categories, the declaration we file in the App Privacy section of App Store Connect.
| Data type | What it covers | Linked to you | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact Info | The name and email address of the workspace member who signs in. | Yes | App Functionality |
| User Content | Messages, photos, videos, documents, and other content sent or received in a customer conversation, including anything you attach from your photo library or camera. | Yes | App Functionality |
| Identifiers | Your user ID and workspace ID, and the identifiers a connected channel assigns to a customer, used to keep a conversation attached to the right person. | Yes | App Functionality |
| Diagnostics | Server-side operational logs: IP address, device and app version, and error traces recorded when a request fails. | Yes | App Functionality |
Not used to track you. The iOS app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics that follow you across other companies' apps or websites. None of the data above is shared with data brokers or used for advertising, so the app never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission.
Not collected. The app never reads your device's location, health or fitness data, financial or payment information, your device contacts, browsing history, or search history. It holds no location permission at all. If a customer chooses to share a place with you inside a conversation, that pin arrives as part of the message and is stored as User Content above — it is their location, not yours, and the app does not derive your position from it.
Device permissions. The app requests access only at the moment you use the feature that needs it:
- Photo library and camera — requested when you tap the attach or camera button in a conversation. Nothing leaves your device until you pick a file and send it. We never scan your library in the background.
- Microphone — never requested. The app can play a voice message a customer sent you, but it cannot record audio; the permission is disabled in the build.
Accounts and deletion. 2PM is a business tool, and accounts are created and removed by a workspace administrator in the web dashboard rather than inside the app — there is no self-service sign-up on iOS. To have your account and its personal data deleted, ask your workspace administrator, or message us directly on our Telegram channel.
